Box Score ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The University of North Carolina Asheville women's soccer team defeated South Carolina State 5-1 on Monday afternoon at Greenwood Field.
 
SC State's only goal of the game came in the 33^rd minute of the first half when Dominique Brown scored with an assist by Brittany Rodrigue.
 
UNCA (8-6-1) scored three goals in the first half and got two more in the second period.
 
SC State (1-11-0) returns to action on Sunday at Stetson University in DeLand, Fla.
