Box Score ORANGEBURG, S.C. – Brooke Stamnes had 12 kills, while teammate Aleena McDaniel had 11 kills to lead the North Carolina A&T women's volleyball team to a 3-0 (25-21, 25-14, 25-23) Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference win over South Carolina State on Friday night at Dukes Gymnasium.
A&T improved to 2-18 overall and 2-2 in the MEAC with the win. SC State fell to 1-18, 1-3 MEAC.
Liz Martino passed out a match-high 31 assists for the Aggies. Martino and Ashley Johnson each had nine digs.
Marissa Lawrence had a match-best 14 kills, while
Melanie Williams had 20 assists and
Tyler Ockleberry had 13 digs.
SC State hosts North Carolina Central (1-20, 1-3 MEAC) at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
