SC State Women's Volleyball Team Remains on the Road

Orangeburg, S.C. – The SC State University women's volleyball team will remain on the road this weekend when they travel to Charleston, S.C. to participate in the Hampton Inn/College of Charleston Invitational. Live stats for the tournament, which is scheduled for this Friday-Saturday, Sept. 6-7, will be available via the College of Charleston website at http://www.cofcsports.com/liveStats/liveStats.dbml?SPID=7054&DB_OEM_ID=14800&LIST_SPORT_KEY=W_VOLLEYBALL.

SC State will open their tournament play against Indiana University on Friday at 4:30 p.m. The Lady Bulldogs will take on host College of Charleston at 1 p.m. on Saturday, before closing the tournament versus Coastal Carolina at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Lady Bulldogs enters the tournament with a 0-3 overall record. Senior Desire Waller has 41 kills to lead SC State offensively while freshman Alexis Moses leads the team defensively with 16 digs. As a whole, the Lady Bulldogs are averaging 8.44 kills and 8.78 digs per set in three matches.
