SC State Women’s Volleyball Team Opens Tournament Play versus Host Citadel

Charleston, S.C. — Live Stats for all matches of the 2013 Citadel Invitational (women's volleyball) can be viewed via The Citadel website at h ttp://livestats.prestosports.com/citadel/. SC State will open its tournament play versus host Citadel today (Sept. 13) at 2 p.m.

The Lady Bulldogs, who enters the tournament at 0-6, will face Radford tomorrow (Saturday, Sept. 14) at 10 a.m. and will close tournament play at 3 p.m. tomorrow versus Charleston Southern.

Senior outside-hitter Desire Waller is the leading attacker for SC State with 63 kills (3.50 per set). Sophomore Melanie Williams has 113 set assists while senior Alyse Lewis is playing solid at the net for the Lady Bulldogs with 16 total blocks (3 solo-13 assists).

SC State will host Wofford on Tuesday, Sept. 17, in its 2013 home-opener. First serve for Tuesday's match is set for 6 p.m. in Dukes Gym at SC State.
