SC State Bulldogs Close Out Conference Play On Road Against Bethune-Cookman

DAYTONA BEACH, FL—The South Carolina State men's and women's tennis teams will close out conference play today when they travel to Daytona Beach, FL to take on the Wildcats of Bethune-Cookman. First-Serve begins at 10 a.m.
        The Lady Bulldogs captured their 9th straight southern division title with a dominating 7-0 win over FAMU on last week in Orangeburg. SC State will look to keep making history as the only women's team in conference history to have nine undefeated seasons in conference play. The Lady bulldogs currently hold a 12-4 overall, 5-0 MEAC), and finished with the best record in the country with a 19-1 overall record last season.
         Meanwhile on the men's side, SC State will look to capture secure the top spot in the southern division with a win over Bethune-Cookman on Friday.  The Bulldogs currently hold an 11-4 overall, 2-1 MEAC record, and will be vying for their 9th MEAC (Mid-Eastern Athletic Championship) under Judge and 18th overall for both men's and women's teams in his 12 year tenure.
          Both teams will wrap up the regular season against Newberry College on Tuesday before heading to Raleigh, NC to compete in the MEAC Tennis Championships, April 19-21 at Millbrook Tennis Complex.
