Judge Looks To Take Control Of Southern Division Title With Win Over Florida A&M

SC State's Hardeep Judge is the school winningest tennis coach in history with over 350 wins and 16 league titles from both men's and women's teams.
ORANGEBURG, SC--The South Carolina State men's and women's tennis teams will host visiting MEAC foe Florida A&M Saturday at the SCSU Tennis Courts in a battle for first place in the Southern Division. First serve begins at 10:30 a.m. for the women, followed by the men at 1:30 p.m.
        The Lady Bulldogs will look to capture their 9th straight league crown, while the men seek their 9th –of-10 championships.
         SC State will salute five seniors who will be honored on “Senior Day” for their athletic achievement on the tennis courts during their collegiate career. On the women's side All-MEAC and nationally ranked performer Maria Craciun along with teammate Romania native All-MEAC Laura Bosneag both led the Lady Bulldogs to three straight league titles over their career.
        The men will honor a dominating trio in senior's Anton Protsenko (Ukraine), Tomas Bizon(Czech Republic), and Peter Vinogradous (Lativa) all who led the Bulldogs to three straight Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Championships while playing.
         Both teams will face a talented visiting Florida A&M team who would like nothing more than to snap the Lady Bulldogs  eight year conference winning streak. The Lady Rattlers enter the contest with 6-8 overall, 3-1 MEAC record, while the Lady Bulldogs are 10-3, 4-0 in the league.
         The Bulldogs having dropped a tough conference match early on in the season to Norfolk State are 9-3 overall, 1-1 in the league. Meanwhile, the Rattlers on of the hottest teams in the league hold the top spot in the Southern Division at 6-10 overall, 2-0 in the MEAC.
         “FAMU you is a really good team and well coached on both the men and women's side,” said SC State head coach Hardeep Judge. “I look for it to be an exciting and tough match from start to finish.”
