Bulldogs improve to 5-2 on the season

ORLANDO, FLA—The South Carolina State men's tennis team improved to 5-2 on the season after posting a huge 5-2 win over Army on Wednesday in Orlando, Fla.
Army jumped out early winning the doubles point over South Carolina State. The Bulldogs bounced back in dominating fashion with senior Anton Protsenko def. Casion Best in two sets, 6-2,6-4 at the No.1 spot.
In other singles action, at the No. 3 spot junior Artemiy Nikitin def. Rashad Shelton 6-0, 6-0, senior Peteris Vinogradous def. Harrison McCormick 6-3, 6-1at the No. 4 spot; freshman Jiri Stiburek def, Austin McCastin 6-0 6-0, and newcomer Marius Dragoi won in three sets 6-4, 5-7, 10-5 over Roman Cacha.
