SC State Falls to Campbell in a Non-conference Volleyball Match

Buies Creek, N.C.—The SC State women's volleyball team fell to Campbell, 0-3 (15-25, 11-25, 17-25), in a non-conference matchup. With the loss, the Lady Bulldogs falls to 3-18 while Campbell improves to 13-11.

Desire Waller had eight kills with 11 digs to lead SC State. Marissa Lawrence contributed seven kills with nine digs and Victoria Ferguson picked up 15 digs in the loss.

Campbell was led by Alexis Hein with 10 while Jessica Groen and Jenny Tait put down seven kills each.

The Lady Bulldogs will remain on the road this weekend, when they travel to the Sunshine State for two Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference matchups. SC State will face Florida A&M on Friday, Oct. 25 in Tallahassee and Bethune-Cookman on Sunday, Oct. 27 in Daytona Beach.
