SC State Women’s Volleyball Returns to Action this weekend at the Spartan Invitational

Live Video and Stats Are Available for All Matches

Orangeburg, S.C.--The SC State women's volleyball team will return to action this weekend as they travel Norfolk, Va., to participate in the Spartan invitational hosted by Norfolk State. The tournament, which runs this Friday-Saturday (Sept. 21-22), is being contested at Echols Hall on the campus of Norfolk State.

SC State (2-5) will open the tournament against Hampton on Friday at 4 p.m. The Lady Bulldogs will face Texas Pan American at 1 p.m. on Saturday before closing out the tournament against host Norfolk State at 4 p.m. on Saturday.

Live stats will be available for every match this weekend. Click here for live stats. In addition, a live video feed will be provided on a pay-per-view basis for each match as well. Cost of the video feed is $5 for one match or $8 for a doubleheader pass, when a team plays twice in one day. The passes must be bought the day of the match (es). The Lady Bulldogs will remain on the road next weekend when they travel to the sunshine state to open its 2012 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) season. SC State will face Bethune-Cookman University on Friday (Sept. 28) in Daytona Beach and Florida A&M on Sunday (Sept. 30) in Tallahassee. The Lady Bulldogs will then travel to Savannah, Ga., Friday, Oct. 5 to take on the Lady Tigers of Savannah State in a MEAC match-up.
