TALLAHASSEE, FL—The South Carolina State men's and women's tennis teams will be on the road this weekend, looking to gain sole control of first-place in the Southern Division against a scrappy Florida A&M Rattler team Saturday at 1 p.m.
The Bulldogs (13-2) the returning Mid-Eastern Athletic Champions have won the league crown the last seven-of-eight, while the Rattlers (15-5) will be seeking their first championship since 2007.
Meanwhile, the Lady Bulldogs (13-0) winners of seven-straight MEAC Tennis Championships will be seeking their eight in a row under the helm of head coach Hardeep Judge.
Both teams will return to action on Friday, March 30, at home when they host Bethune-Cookman University on “Senior Day” at the SCSU Tennis Courts, beginning at 1 p.m.
