SC State Women's Volleyball Fall to NC A&T in its 2012 Regular Season Finale

Sr., E. Page Webb picked up 15 digs in the loss
Box Score Greensboro, NC—The SC State women's volleyball team fell to NC A&T, 0-3, (22-25, 17-25, 24-26), in their 2012 regular season finale.  With the loss the Lady Bulldogs finish the regular season with a 9-14 overall record and 6-4 in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.

SC State could not get any offense going as they finished the match with a .077 hitting percentage and just one player with double-digit kills.  NC A&T (3-29, 3-7 MEAC) managed to put down eight team blocks in the contest.

Junior Desire Waller recorded her second straight double-double with 15 kills and 10 digs.  Sophomores Maya Bell and Dorian Corbett each recorded eight kills and the lone senior E. Paige Webb had a team-high 15 digs in the loss.

NC A&T was led by Brooke Stamnes with 11 kills.  Ashley Johnson recorded a game-high 29 digs in the victory for the Lady Aggies.

SC State will travel to Baltimore, Md., this weekend (Friday-Sunday, Nov. 16-18) to participate in the 2012 MEAC postseason tournament.
