SUMTER, SC—The South Carolina State men's tennis team will compete in the Mid-Eastern Athletic annual roundup held in Sumter, SC beginning March 2-7, 2011.
The Bulldogs (2-2) will be one of five teams competing in the tournament along with Bethune-Cookman, Norfolk State, North Carolina Central, and Hampton.
In their last outing SC State dropped a tough 2-5 decision to Radford University at SCSU Tennis Courts on last week. Freshman Anton Protsenko defeated Igor Ogrizek (6-0, 6-1) and Peteris Vinogradous topped Joe Mills (6-3, 7-6) in singles actions.
