Orangeburg, S.C.—The SC State women's soccer team will face the Delaware State Hornets in the first round of the Great West Conference (GWC) Post-season Tournament. The Lady Bulldogs earned the third seed in the upcoming tournament and will face the sixth seeded Hornets this Friday, Nov. 4 at 4:30 p.m. The tournament which will be held November 4-7 at Newark, N.J., will kick off with Friday with Howard facing off with North Dakota at 2 p.m. (ET).

SC State finished the regular season with a 5-9-3 overall record and 3-2-1 in the GWC. The Lady Bulldogs fell to Houston Baptist, 2-1 on Oct. 27 and to Utah Valley State, 4-0 on Oct. 29 to close out the regular season. Olivia Moore and Cassie Rodriguez finished the regular season leading the Lady Bulldogs. Moore finished with five goals with one assist for 11 points while Rodriguez finished with three goals for six points.
Saturday's semifinals will feature Utah Valley against the HU-UND winner at 4:30 p.m., followed by the SCSU-DSU winner vs. the HBU-NJIT winner at 7 p.m.
