SC State Defeats NC A&T in Women's Volleyball

Shabree Roberson hit for .778 (15-of-18 kills) in the victory

Greensboro, NC--The SC State women's volleyball team defeated NC A&T, 3-0 (25-19, 25-16, 25-7), in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) match-up at Corbett Sports Center. With the victory, the Lady Bulldogs improve to 12-11 overall and undefeated in the MEAC at 4-0.

Red shirt junior Shabree Roberson had an outstanding all-around game for SC State as she hit for .778 (15-of-18 kills) with four digs and two blocks. Desire Waller had 12 kills while Melissa Robinson and E. Paige Webb had double-digit digs with 13 and 12 digs, respectively. Webb also contributed seven kills in the win.

NC A&T remains winless on the season at 0-21 overall and 0-4 in the MEAC. Jenea Daniels led the Lady Aggies with nine kills and three total blocks.

SC will travel to Durham, NC on Sunday (Oct. 16) to take on the Lady Eagles of NC Central.
