Orangeburg, SC—The SC State women's volleyball team will host the 2010 SC State Spikefest this Friday and Sunday, September 17 and 18, at the Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center on the campus of SC State. Other participants in the Spikefest include fellow MEAC Foe, Hampton and North Carolina Central along with Mercer and The Citadel.
SC State, who enters the tournament with a 1-10 overall, will open tournament play versus North Carolina Central on Friday, Sept. 17 at 12 noon. The Lady Bulldogs will face Hampton University on Friday at 6 p.m., the Citadel on Saturday at 9 a.m. and the team will close out tournament play on Saturday at 5 p.m. versus Mercer.
