Orangeburg, SC—The SC State women's volleyball team will open its 2010 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) play on the road this, Friday, Oct. 8, versus the nine-time MEAC defending champions, Florida A&M Lady Rattlers. The matchup is set for a 7 p.m. first serve in Tallahassee, Fl.

SC State, who enters tomorrow night game with a 5-16 overall record, defeated Alabama State, 3-0, in its last outing (10-5-10). The Lady Bulldogs will remain in the Sunshine State as they travel to Daytona Beach to take on the Lady Wildcats of Bethune-Cookman University on Sunday, Oct. 10 at 3 p.m.

The Lady Bulldogs will remain on the road for the next week as they travel to Norfolk, Va. (10-13) and to Baton Rouge, La. (10/15-16). The team will return home on Friday, Oct. 22 to take on the Lady Rattlers in a 6 p.m. contest.
