Orangeburg, SC—The SC State women's soccer team defeated Delaware State, 4-0, in a Great West Conference (GWC) matchup this afternoon at the Oliver C. Dawson Stadium. The victory was the second straight conference shut-out for the Lady Bulldogs.
SC State (8-5-1, 2-0-0 GWC) totally dominated the match as they allowed only nine total shots by Delaware State (1-13-0, 0-2-0 GWC). The Lady Hornets had just four shots on goal in the game in the loss.
The Lady Bulldogs used a balanced attack in the victory as they scored two goals in the first half and two in the second en route to its 4-0 victory. Senior
Brooke Ehinger scored two-of-the-four goals (one in the first and one in second) to lead the Lady Bulldogs. Senior

Briana Lopez each recorded one goal on the day. Lopez also assisted on both of Ehinger goals.
SC State will hit the road for a three-game road swing beginning October 15 when they travel to Newark, NJ to take on NJIT. The Lady Bulldogs will face Delaware State (10/17) and Howard (10/19) before returning home to close out the regular season on October 31 versus NJIT.
