Moneka Latrece Void is a proud Bulldog and dedicated leader in collegiate cheer, bringing both passion and precision to her role as Assistant Cheerleading Coach at South Carolina State University. A native of Augusta, Georgia, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Professional English from SC State in 2017.
As a student-athlete, Moneka made her mark as a three-year member of the SC State Cheerleading Team, including two competitive seasons and a championship victory as part of the 2008 MEAC Co-Ed Cheerleading Champion squad.
Her experience in the Spirit Program laid a powerful foundation—instilling discipline, confidence, and a lifelong commitment to excellence. Those values launched her into a dynamic cheer career, affording her opportunities to travel nationally and collaborate with elite teams and organizations such as World Class Cheer and the Georgia Soul Semi-Pro Basketball Teams.
In 2018, Moneka’s journey came full circle when she returned to her alma mater to serve under Head Coach Byron Larrymore. With unwavering Bulldog pride, she continues to pour into the next generation of student-athletes—mentoring, motivating, and molding champions both on and off the mat. Her commitment to the legacy of SC State Cheer is a testament to her belief in the power of spirit, service, and tradition.
