Aubrai M. Brailey serves as the Assistant Athletic Director for Development & Revenue Generation at SCSU, where she leads initiatives focused on fundraising, corporate partnerships, premium experiences, and external revenue growth for Bulldog Athletics. Her work is centered on creating sustainable revenue streams that enhance the student-athlete experience and support the long-term success of the department.
She oversees athletic development efforts including donor cultivation, stewardship, annual giving, and major gift strategy, while also managing sponsorship sales, premium hospitality, special events, and fan engagement programs. Brailey plays an important role in aligning Athletics with broader institutional development initiatives to strengthen relationships with alumni, donors, corporate partners, and the Bulldog community.
Prior to joining Athletics, Brailey served in SCSU’s central institutional advancement office spearheading leading donor engagement, stewardship, and special events. Her experience across both advancement and athletics provides a unique perspective in building partnerships that increase revenue and elevate the Bulldog brand.
A native of Orangeburg, Brailey earned a Bachelor of Science in Sports Science and Fitness Management from North Carolina A&T State University and a Master of Science in Kinesiology from Louisiana State University. She is currently pursuing an Ed.D. in Higher Education with a concentration in Sport Administration from St. Thomas University.
She is also the proud mother of her daughter, Avé Renée.
