Jackie Denova

Jackie DeNova is in her first season as an assistant coach with the SC State women’s soccer program.  She joins the Lady Bulldogs after serving as an assistant at Coker College the past two seasons.

DeNova brings a wealth of knowledge to the Lady Bulldog program.  For the past five seasons she has served on the staff with the University of Mississippi soccer camp.  In addition, she also has coaching stints with the Last Defense Goalkeeping Camp, the Columbus State University Soccer Camps and has experience training goalkeepers throughout the region.

After transferring from the University of Mississippi, DeNova went on to have an impressive playing career at William Carey University in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She was a two-time All-American goalkeeper and a member of the Nissan All-Region Team and the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) All-Conference Team. During her playing days at William Carey, DeNova was named the SSAC Defensive Player of the Year and Divisional Player of the Year.  She also earned National Player of the Week honors and was awarded several Conference Player of the Week honors.

A native of Fort Lewis, Washington she received her Bachelor of Science in physical education from William Carey in May 2011.  She holds a USSF National "C" Coaching License and is an assistant coach for South Carolina ODP.  She also serves as the head coach for the SC State Women’s Golf team.
