South Carolina State University Athletics

Ned is a junior middle-distance runner for the South Carolina State track and field and cross country programs. The Mableton, Georgia, native specializes in the 800 meters and attended Pebblebrook High School.

Away from competition, Ned is a biology major and participates in several campus organizations, including the SC State Paw Room, Campus Activities Board, Health Professionals Society and 101 Black Men of SC State. He also lists photography among his talents.

Athletics runs in Ned's family. His father, Valder Ned, played basketball at Bethune-Cookman University, while his mother, Sharifa Ned, played volleyball at Bethune-Cookman.
