ABOUT ADAMS: First-year member of the Bulldog basketball team… Had a great preseason and should battle his way into the starting lineup and share duties at point guard…An outstanding leader on the court who runs the floor with exceptional speed…A great passer who can knock down the 3-pointer as well as makes teammates around him better..A JUCO (junior college transfer) from Brevard (CC) Community College out of Florida averaged 12.5 ppg, 3.1 rpg and 3.0 apg as a freshman in the 2010-11 campaign… A 2nd Team All Southern Conference performer, Adams was the second leading scorer and was second on the team in assists… He was also 2nd on the team in steals with 50 and scored a team-high 23 points in an upset win over rival Palm Beach ... A native of Dark, Senegal, he was the leading scorer on the 2008 Senegal U18 National Team at the Fiba African Cup…. Adams was also selected to the Senegal National Team trials and made the 16 man practice roster, competing in Paris, France, in preparation for the 2011 Fiba African Cup, and a chance at the Olympics.
