Biography
One of the team’s captains for the 07-08 season…Baity is a fiery guard who refuses to five up…she gives 110 % every time she steps on the floor… Baity is expected to lead the team this season with her ball control, poise and confidence…with more scorers on this season’s team, her assists numbers will undoubtedly improve from season ago. 2006-07: Had a very productive season in her first season with the Lady Bulldogs…Started in all 29 games…Baity led the team in scoring (11.6 points per game), assists (3.5 per game), steals (2.36 per game) and was second in free-throw percentage (69.4 percent)…had a season high 20 points versus Winthrop and 11 rebounds verses UNC-Chapel Hill…recorded three double-doubles last season…she was ranked in top 15 in the MEAC in scoring (12th), free-throw percentage (15th); assists (3rd); steals (4th); 3-point field-goal percentage (11th), 3-point field goals mad (14th), assist/turnover ratio (7th); and defensive rebounds (13th)…Previous School: Baity had a great 2005-06 season at Georgia Perimeter College in Decatur, Georgia. . She led the nation for the second year in a row in assists per game averaging 8.3 assists per game…she finished her career as the all-time assist leader at Georgia Perimeter College . . . was named MVP of Regional tournament. High School: Earned letters in basketball, softball, and track & field at Riverdale High School in Atlanta, Georgia . . . led team to three region titles . . . made it to the final four of the stat championship tournament as a senior.
