Biography

Has demonstrated his versatility by playing both tight end and offensive line as a Bulldog...Is coming off a great spring performance and entered fall camp as the top reserve at left tackle behind All-American Johnny Culbreath...Very talented and is primed for a big year as he competes for a starting position at tackle. 2009: Was looked at as a tight end last spring but ended up being one of the top backups on the offensive line at tackle...Saw action in 10 games...Performed well in a rotation that included three All-MEAC performers. 2008: Played in 12 of the team’s 13 contests as a reserve defensive lineman…Recorded eight total tackles, five unassisted, with one sack. 2007: Played in eight of the team’s eleven games...Provided solid backup duty at defensive tackle… Recorded 12 total tackles, including six unassisted with one tackle for loss, one sack and two pass deflections. 2006: Was redshirted as a freshman. High School: Was a standout in both football and basketball…Earned All-State and All- Region honors twice in both sports…A participant in the North-South All-State game in both football and basketball.Personal: A sport communication major…Born 07-03-1988…the son of Caresa Blunt.
