Emerged from spring drills number one on the depth chart at free safety and the likely replacement for Rafael Bush -- a free-agent signee with the Atlanta Falcons – at the position...A very talented player with great instincts on the field...transferred to SC State in 2009 after a year at ACC member NC State. 2009: Was one of the top reserves in the secondary who made a solid contribution at free safety...Recorded 23 total tackles, 13 of them unassisted...Also had four tackles for loss and three sacks, with four pass breakups, one forced fumble and a blocked kick. 2008: Played in all 13 games at NC State, mainly on special teams. High School: Was ranked among the top-30 prospects in North Carolina by Rivals.com...Was listed as the nation’s number 41 cornerback by Rivals...Was a PrepStar all region selection as a senior.
