Is expected to be the starter at fullback for a second consecutive season after a solid freshman campaign...Very talented and one of the best blocking backs to occupy the SC State backfield in recent years. 2009: Started all twelve contests at fullback..Provided outstanding blocking for tailback Will Ford, who galloped for 1,000 yards and ended his career at the Bulldog and MEAC rushing leader...Had only four carries for 39 yards, including a long run of 15. High School: Was among the Palmetto State’s most sought-after players and one of the top rushers as a senior...Received loads of interest from several major schools...Earned All-District and All-County honors...Personal: A physical education major...Born April 8, 1991...Son of Shawn Wherry.
