Trumain Carroll

      Trumain Carroll begins his first season as the head strength and conditioning coach at South Carolina State. Prior to coming to SC State, Carroll served as the head strength and conditioning coach at the University of Missouri-Kanas City.
        A native of Missouri City, Texas, Carroll was a defensive lineman for the Cowboy football squad from 2001-2005, helping OSU to appearances in the 2002 Houston Bowl, the 2004 Cotton Bowl and the 2004 Alamo Bowl.
        During the summer, Carroll received his certification from the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association and became a full-time member of the OSU strength and conditioning staff. In addition to the women’s basketball squad, he works with the Cowboy football team.
       Carroll graduated from Oklahoma State in December of 2005 with a degree in general business. Upon receiving his degree, he joined assistant athletic director for strength and conditioning Rob Glass’ staff as a graduate assistant in January of the following year.
       Prior to his arrival in Stillwater, Carroll attended Elkins High School where he competed in football and basketball.
       Carroll is the son of Kenneth Carroll and Mozelle Boniaby. He has two sisters, Kaylon & Ashlon, and one brother, Quintin. He enjoys fishing, bowling and watching in his spare time.
