South Carolina State University Athletics

Chris Cook is in his first season as an SC State assistant and will work with the Bulldog secondary.  A Forest City, N.C. native, Cook joined Coach Pough’s Staff after spending a year a Chowan University.
         
Prior to that, he served as an assistant coach at North Carolina Tech Prep (2009), Pikeville College (2008) and Gardner-Webb University as a student assistant from 2002-07, where he helped lead GWU to two Big South Conference Championships.
     
Cook earned his bachelor’s degree from the United States Sports Academy in Sports Management in 2011.
