Was impressive during spring drills and recorded five tackles and a sack in the Garnet and Blue game...Is expected to compete for a backup role at linebacker...Will also be asked to contribute on special teams...2009: Played a reserve role at linebacker...Saw playing time in three contests, recording one tackle which occurred behind the line of scrimmage. 2008: Was redshirted. High School: Earned multiple letters in football and was one of the dominant defensive players in the state as a senior...Earned All-State and All-Region honors and was the MVP in the 2008 North-South All Star game. Personal: A business management major...Born July 3, 1989...son of Alma and Alvin Deveaux.
