ABOUT PALMER: A First-year member for the Bulldogs…Had a tremendous preseason workout this summer with new incoming players…A very athletic athlete who can run the floor, block shots, rebound, and shoot the ball well from long range…Works really hard on both ends of the ball and will battle for a starting position this season for the Bulldogs.. HIGH SCHOOL: Palmer was a premier standout at Timberland High School averaged 16 points, 10 rebounds and 3.0 blocks during his prep career…The 6-7 power forward earned All-State honors for the second straight year as well being selected to the premier North/South All-Star Classic his senior campaign…. Ironically, Palmer’s was coached by former S.C. State forward Jerome Stewart who was a South assistant along with Ridgeland’s Jeremiah Faber in the All-Star game… Personal: Major: Physical Education Parents: Nancy Palmer (Mother) and Frank Gillard (Father) DOB: 2/27/93
