ORANGEBURG, SC—South Carolina State head coach Chennis Berry will kick off the 2025 campaign, beginning Monday (Aug. 25^th) with the annual his Bulldog Football Press Conference.

The weekly press conference will be held at 12 noon, each Monday during the season in Staley Hall on the second floor in room 204 inside Bulldog Media Room on the campus of SC State University.

Berry, entering his second year at the helm, made an historic run in year one leading the Bulldogs to their 19^th MEAC Championship in school history and 2^nd appearance in the prestigious Cricket Wireless Celebration Bowl, becoming the only coach in school history to guide his team to a conference championship in their first season.

Along with making his mark in SC State Football history, Berry earned numerous accolades along the way, among them AFCA Coach of the Year, MEAC Coach of the Year, Eddie Robison Coach of the Year finalist, being selected to the Advancement of Blacks in Sports (ABIS) Coach of the Year watchlist , while being name to a third straight HBCU Legacy Bowl coaching staff.

The video conference, which features the league's six head coaches, will continue weekly through Monday, Nov. 17.
 
Each head coach will be available for a 10-minute period that includes a brief statement about the previous and upcoming games and opponents. Each session concludes with a question-and-answer session with members of the media.

Credible media outlets may access the video conference via the Zoom link provided below by the MEAC office. The entire video conference will be available online each Wednesday morning on the conference's MEAC Digital Network YouTube channel.
