BALTIMORE, MD- South Carolina State men's and women's basketball teams remain on the road Monday (March 4) evening on the road in a pivotal Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference showdown at Coppin State inside the Physical Education Complex Arena.
Tipoff is set for 5:30 pm for the women, with the men immediately following in a 7:30 pm start.
The Lady Bulldogs look to turn things around after coming off an 29-61 loss to Morgan State on Saturday (March 2), to fall to 2-25 overall, 1-11 on the season. CSU (9-17 overall, 6-6 MEAC) enters the contest eager for a win for SC State to complete a season sweep after coming off an 44-52 defeat to NCCU on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the men's (13-16 overall, 8-4 MEAC) set their sights on continuing their winning streak after a 72-61 win over Morgan State to capture their fourth straight league win in a row.
Coppin (2-24 overall, 1-11 MEAC) hopes to snap a 11-game losing skid and avenge an early season loss 65-77 loss to the Bulldogs on Feb. 5 in Orangeburg, SC.
UP NEXT: South Carolina State will conclude the regular season Thursday (March. 7) on the road at NC Central. Tipoff for the women's contest is 5:30 pm, with the men following in a 7:30 p.m. game time.
