NORFOLK, VA--The South Carolina State women's basketball team will participate in the opening round of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Conference Basketball Tournament.

The 2024 MEAC Basketball Tournament, will run from March 13-16 at the Scope Arena in Norfolk, Va.

South Carolina State, the No. 8 seed will face the Lady Spartans of Norfolk State, the top seed after clinching the regular-season crown on Wednesday, March 13. Tip-off is scheduled for 12 PM.

NSU currently holds a 2-0 series lead this season over SCSU in league play.

SC State went 1-13 in conference meanwhile Norfolk State went 13-1 in MEAC play.
