WASHINGTON, DC—The South Carolina State men's basketball team is back in action on Monday (Feb.19) in the nation's capital versus Howard in a 7:30 p.m. inside Burr Gymnasium.
The Bulldogs (9-16 overall, 4-4 MEAC) look to keep their momentum after coming off a heartbreaking 67-7 overtime loss to top-ranked Norfolk State on Saturday (Feb.17) in Virginia.
Omar Croskey led the way with a team-high 16 points, while Raquan Brown added the games only double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds in the loss.
Meanwhile Howard (11-14 overall, 5-3 MEAC) is on a two-game winning streak after posting back-to-back league wins over Delaware State (75-71) and North Carolina Central (90-82).
NEXT UP: South Carolina State will host Delaware State Saturday (Feb.24) in the second game of a doubleheader beginning at 4 p.m. inside Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center.
