SC State Youth &. ROTC Day set for Saturday, Oct. 19, registration underway

ORANGEBURG, S.C. – Youths from area schools, youth groups, churches, JROTC units and more will descend on the South Carolina State University campus on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024, for the annual Youth & ROTC Day.
 
SC State Athletics and the Department of Military Science -- in collaboration with the Office of Admissions, Recruitment and Scholarships -- extend an invitation for youths and youth organizations to join the university for a fun-filled day of activities planned for enjoyment and academic enrichment.
 
During their visit, high school seniors who complete an application for admission to SC State may get an on-site decision if they bring a hard copy of their transcript, senior course schedules and test scores.
 
SC State University Athletics has extended a special welcome for all youth to share the "Bulldog Experience" by offering a discounted game ticket of $10 to youths 17 and under and to members of youth groups (civic, community, fraternal organizations, churches, etc.) to attend the SC State Bulldogs vs. Fort Valley State football game.

SC State Ticket Office, Post Office Box 7511, Orangeburg, SC 29117, by fax to 1-803-533-3631 or by email to ticketoffice@scsu.edu. The deadline for tickets is Friday, Oct. 18. The deadline for ordering meals and submitting payment is Monday, Oct. 14.
