BULLDOG GAME NOTES
ATLANTA, GA—The South Carolina State Bulldogs are back in action Saturday (Sept.9
th) versus ACC foe Georgia Tech in a non-conference matchup at Bobby Dodd Stadium. Kickoff is 1:02 p.m. and will be televised on the ACC Network Extra.
BULLDOG NOTES *Coach Buddy Pough who is entering his 22nd and final season as the leader of the Bulldog Football program is the All-Time Winningness coach in school history. The legendary coach has led the Bulldogs to 8x MEAC Titles and has captured numerous Coach of the Year accolades.
* Brent Key, a Georgia Tech alumnus and football letterwinner, was officially named the 21st head coach in Tech football history on Nov. 29, 2022. Key takes the reins of the program after leading the Yellow Jackets to a 4-4 record over the final eight games of the 2022 season as interim head coach.
SCSTATE/GA.TECH CONNECTION: Former Bulldog standout linebacker
Tyler Smith serves on the Yellow Jacket staff as Assistant Director Of Football Strength And Conditioning.

Kacy Fields led the way on the ground with 9 carries for 43-yards on the day. *
Aaron Smith had a solid day on defense with 8 tackles, 2 TFL, 1 sack. *On special team's freshman punter Max' Ceon Cobb had 7 punts for 267- yards for a long of 45-yards and three inside the 20.
Next up the Bulldogs return home for a showdown versus The Citadel at home inside Oliver C. Dawson Stadium on Willie E. Jeffries Field. Kick off is 6 p.m.
