Bulldogs Fall Short To Wildcats At Home

ORANGEBURG, SC— Three Bulldogs scored double figures with Wilson Dubinsky leading the way with a team-high 11 points and three assist, but it wasn't enough as Bethune-Cookman held off a feisty SC State team to grab an 80-71-win Saturday (Dec.9th) inside Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center.

Davion Everett and James Morrow added 10 each and both grabbed a team-high nine (9) rebounds respectively in the loss. The Bulldogs fall to 2-8, while the Wildcats improve to 5-4 on the season.

BC-U was led by Jakobi Heady with 20 points and eight (8) rebounds, while teas Zaion Harmon added 18 and Elijah Hulsewe in the win.

Despite the loss, SC State finished strong in several categories including Bench Points (35-16), Second Chance Points (19-11) and Rebounding (51-35).

NEXT UP: South Carolina State will host Jacksonville University  on Monday (Dec. 11) in a 7 p.m. start.
