ORANGEBURG, SC—South Carolina State men's basketball return to action on the road to face ACC foe Pitt inside the Petersen Events Center in front a national audience Saturday (Dec. 16).
The game will televise live on the ACC Network with an 2 p.m. tipoff.

SC State snapped a seven-game losing skid with a win 86-85 over Jacksonville. Michael Teal led the way with a team-high 17 points, while teammates Caleb McCarty and Mitchell Taylor each tossed in 14 points respectively. McCarty finished with the games only double-double grabbing 14 rebounds in the win.

Davion Everett is the leader for the Bulldogs at 10.4 points and 7.2 rebounds.  Freshman guard Mitchell Taylor is second at 9.2, while Dubinsky Wilson at 8.4 per contest.

Pitt enters the game looking to extend their winning streak to three after an 82-71 win over Canisius at home on Dec. 9^th, along with an 80-63 victory over West Virginia on Dec. 6^th on the road.

The Panthers have three players in double figures with Blake Hinson leading the way with 21.9 ppg, followed by Carlton Carrington and Ishmael Leggett with 14 points respectively.

NEXT UP: South Carolina will close out an two-game road swing at UNC-Asheville on Monday (Dec.18^th). Tip-off is 6 p.m.
