ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State men's basketball team will look to bounce back Monday (Dec.11) when they host visiting Jacksonville University in a non-conference matchup inside Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center. Tip-off is 7 p.m.
The Bulldogs (2-8) is coming off an 71-80 loss to Bethune-Cookman on Saturday (Dec. 9
th) at home. Freshman
James Morrow led the way with 10 points and nine (9) rebounds in the loss.
Davion Everett is the leader for the Bulldogs with 11.0 points and 7.4 rebounds per game.
Meanwhile, JU (6-3) dropped a tough 52-94 defeat to Central Florida in their last outing. Robert McCray finished with a team-high 12 points and five rebounds.
McCray is the leader for the Dolphins with 18.3 ppg, while teammate Bryce Workman is second with 12.3 points and a team-high7.2 rebounds.
NEXT UP: South Carolina State hit the road for a two-game swing beginning with Pittsburg on Saturday (Dec. 16
th) and UNC-Asheville on Monday (Dec.18
th).
