SUMTER, SC-The defending Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Champion South Carolina State men's tennis team opened the season with a pair of victories over The Citadel and USC-Sumter.
In the first match, the Bulldogs defeated The Citadel 7-0, capturing the doubles point early in the match.
The second match was no different versus USC- Sumter as South Carolina State dominated in singles action to capture a 6-0 shutout win to improve to 2-0 on the season.
UP Next for SC State
South Carolina State returns to action on Tuesday (Feb.15
th) versus North Carolina State A&T on the road in a 1 p.m. match time.
