ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State (7-9) will resume Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference play Monday (Jan. 10
th) when they host Morgan State(5-7) in a pivotal league contest at Smith-Hammond-Middleton Center. Tip-off is 6 p.m.
SERIES: Morgan State leads the series 10-6 in the last 16 meetings. The last time the two teams met on the hardwood the Bears edge out an 72-78 win over the Bulldogs in Orangeburg, SC.

T.J. Madlock led the way with a team-high 21 points and 9 rebounds in the loss.
SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS: SC State is averaging 73.1 points per game as a team; 41.6 rebounds; 6.9 steals and 3.3 blocks.

Cameron Jones gives the much-needed scoring and lift with 11.8 points and 4.4 rebounds per outing.
DeQuan Williams provides the leadership in the
frontcourt with 5.9 rebounds and 7.5 points, along with forward
Edward Oliver-Hampton with 8.0 points and team-high 6.3 rebounds.
SCOUTING MORGAN STATE: The Bears is averaging 76.5 points per game as a team; 35.3 rebounds; 10.7 steals and 3.5 blocks.
Morgan State is led in scoring by Keith McGee at 11.1 points, while Malik Miller adds 10.8 points and a team-high 8.3 rebounds. Teammates De'Torrion Ware ,Isaiah Burke and Lagio Grantsaan each added 9.5 points each respectively.
Next up South Carolina State returns to conference play on Saturday (Jan.15
th) when they host North Carolina Central in a 4 p.m. start at Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center.
