DOVER, DE—The South Carolina State men's and women's basketball teams wrap up a final of a two-game league swing Monday (Jan. 24
th) when they take on Delaware State in a pivotal Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) battle at Memorial Hall.
Tip-off for the women's contest begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men's in a 7:30 p.m. start.
SERIES: The men lead the series 8-5 over Delaware State. The Bulldogs captured the last meeting with a 100-86 win on Feb. 10
th, 2020. Meanwhile, the women lead is tied in series 8-8 with the Lady Hawks. The Lady Bulldogs dropped their last meeting 64-76 on Feb. 10
th, 2020, on the road.
LAST TIMEOUT: South Carolina State men knocked off the Hawks at home 69-60, with freshman forward
Jemal Davis leading the way with 16 points and 8 rebounds.
T.J. Madlock finished with 13 in the win. Meanwhile, the women improved to 2-0 in the league after pulling out an, 64-60, road win over the Lady Hawks.
Trinity Klock finished with 15 points and
Nicole Gwynn added 11 on the day.
