ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State men's basketball team return to action Tuesday (Jan.18^th) in non-conference play versus Morris College in a 6 p.m. start at Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center.

SERIES: This is the second time the two teams will meet on the hardwood. SC State leads the series 1-0, with the Bulldogs posting an 100-91 victory over Morris on Nov.28, 2017 in Orangeburg, SC.

LAST TIMEOUT: South Carolina State look to bounce back after back-to-back league losses to Coppin State (74-65) and Morgan State (81-88 in OT).

SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS: SC State is averaging 73.5 points per game as a team; 41.9 rebounds; 7.2 steals and 3.4 blocks.

Two-time MEAC Rookie of the Week freshman guard TJ Madlock leads the way with 11.9 points and 5.8 rebounds. Cameron Jones gives the much-needed scoring and lift with 11.4 points and 4.6 rebounds per outing. DeQuan Williams provides the leadership in the frontcourt with 6.3 rebounds and 7.6 points.

UP Next for SC State
South Carolina State will continue MEAC play on the road versus UMES Saturday (Jan.22) in Princess Anne, MD at 4 p.m., followed by a trip to Dover, DE against Delaware State Monday (Jan.24^th) at 7:30 p.m.
