ORANGEBURG, SC—The Lady Bulldogs (0-1) return to action on Tuesday (Nov. 16^th ) when they host visiting USC-Upstate (0-1, 0-0 BIG SOUTH)in a non-conference battle at Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center. Tip-off is 7 p.m.

Series History
Tuesday's meeting between USC Upstate and South Carolina State marks the ninth all-time meeting between the two programs in a series that began during the 2008-09 season. Upstate leads the all-time series 6-2, winning the previous meeting on December 14, 2019.

Players to Watch
Upstate: Making her USC Upstate debut against Clemson, junior guard Chellia Watson finished as the Spartans leading scorer, dropping 15 points in a career-high 34 minutes. She finished 6-of-15 from the field and 3-of-7 from beyond the arc as she led Upstate in both field goals and three-point field goals made. Her first three in a Spartan uniform kickstarted the scoring in last Wednesday's game, marking the first points of the game, the season, and Watson's Spartan career.
 
South Carolina State: Forward Trinity Klock enters Tuesday's game as the Bulldogs leading scorer as she's posted back-to-back double-figure games to open the season. She opened the year with a double-double at Old Dominion with 19 points and 11 rebounds before posting 14 points and eight boards off the bench against Coastal Carolina.
