ORANGEBURG, SC – South Carolina State will  welcome eight new members, including an team into its Athletic Hall of Fame during the 2020 football season.
 
The 2020 class includes Benjamin "Bennie" Blocker (Football, 1965-1967), Erone Edmonds (Football,1973-1977 ), Thomas "Jackie"  Kennerly (Football,1964-1968 ),  Dana Lewis (Track & Field, 1997-2000 ), Bennie McMurray (Baseball,1967-`971 ), Michael Summers (Football,1984-1988), Tony Maurice Thomas (Swimming, 1970-1974) Tyrone Williams (Basketball, 1967-1971) and the 2010 MEAC Champion Volleyball Team.
