ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State men's basketball team will host visiting Jacksonville University in a non-conference matchup Sunday (Dec. 13^th) at Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center. Tip-off is 2 p.m.

The Bulldogs still seek their first win of the season after suffering an 63-90 setback to College of Charleston on Friday. Freshman Floyd Rideau, Jr. led the way with a team-high 16 points in the loss, while teammates Trushaun Moorer and Omar Croskey added 11 each in the loss.

Meanwhile, JU (5-2) is led by Dontarius James with at 19.2 ppg and Tyreese Davis adding 13.1 points per contest.

Next up the Bulldogs return to action on Tuesday, Dec. 15^th on the road in Lynchburg, VA against Liberty University in a non-conference matchup at 7 p.m.
