ORANGEBURG, SC—Late shooting start gave Radford all the momentum they needed to knock off South Carolina State, 60-45, Tuesday (Nov. 12
th) at Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center.
The Lady Bulldogs (1-2) shot 31.5% (17-of-54) from the field, while shooting 40% (8-of-20) from the charity stripe.
Junior forward
Jayah Hicks finished with 15 points and seven rebounds, while
Heniaya Moton added 10 points and five rebounds in the loss. Senior forward
Taylor Brown added eight points and eight rebounds.
Next up South Carolina State return to action on the road versus UNC-Wilmington in a non-conference matchup, beginning at 2 p.m.
