JACKSONVILLE, Fla.—The South Carolina State men's basketball team will play their seventh (7^th) straight road game Saturday (Dec. 1^st) when they travel to the sunshine state to take on Jacksonville University in a non-conference matchup. Tip-off is  6 p.m. The game will be televised live on ESPN+.

BULLDOGS AT A GLANCE: The Bulldogs look to get things back on track after a hard fought 70-83 defeat to College of Charleston on Wednesday. Preseason All-MEAC selection junior forward Damani Applewhite led the way with a team-high 22 points and five rebounds, while Aramani Hill added 13 and Rayshawn Neal chipped in 10 points and six (6) assist in the loss. Applewhite is having a careers season with 19.4 ppg and 6.6 rebounds, while senior guard Janai Raynor-Powell controls the tempo at 11.4 per outing.
 
JU AT A GLANCE: The Dolphins are 3-5 on the year after suffering a tough, 77-65, loss to Western Carolina in their last outing. JD Notae led the way with a team-high 19 points and eight (8) rebounds, while Jace Hogan added 16 points and five rebounds in the loss. Notae is the leader with 16.1 points and shooting 45.2% from 3-point range, while Hogan adds 12.2 pm the season.
