th) on the road against host Delaware State in a 5 p.m. tip-off at Memorial Hall
South Carolina State (5-8 overall, 0-1 MEAC) looks to snap a three-game losing skid after suffering a tough 50-68 loss in their MEAC opener against Bethune-Cookman. Junior guard Kemoni Jenkins led the Lady Bulldogs with a team-high 14 points and eight rebounds in the loss.
Meanwhile, DSU (1-13 overall, 0-1 MEAC) also suffered a tough league opener against NC Central 67-74 at home. Najai Pollard tossed in a game-high 21 points for the Hornets.

Bryeasha Blair leads the SC State women (12.4 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 2.2 apg). She is supported by junior forward/guard
Kyeshia Lewis (10.7 ppg, 3.9 rpg), the top three-point shooter (20-46, .435 pct.), and junior guard
Kemoni Jenkins (10.3 ppg, 4.7 rpg), the team's leader in steals with 24.
The Hornets are led by Pollard with 18.0 points per game, while Lanayjha Ashe is second with 10.4 ppg. Keke Baker is the leader on the boards at 6.4.
