Week# 3 Game Notes vs. Clemson
CLEMSON, SC— South Carolina State will face it toughest challenge of the season when they take on ACC powerhouse the 5
th nationally-ranked Clemson Tigers Saturday in Death Valley at Memorial Stadium. Kickoff is 12 noon.

The Bulldogs are coming off tough 53-24 road loss to Louisiana Tech on Saturday in Ruston, while the Tigers (2-0) will look for their third win of the season.
Clemson owns the series 3-0 with wins in 2008 (54-0), 2013(52-13), and 2014(54-0).
All-MEAC and Preseason All-American redshirt junior linebacker
Darius Leonard leads the charge on defense with 24 tackles. Leonard recorded a game-high 16 tackles in the Bulldogs loss to UCF in their season opener. For his efforts he was named MEAC Defensive Player of the Week.

Caleb York controls the offense throwing 29-of-66 for 271 yard/ 135.5 ypg and two touchdowns. Junior punter
Jerome Pettiway leads the way on special teams with 17 punts for 683 yards (40.2 yards per punt), two (2) touchbacks and three (3) inside the 20.
